Dr. John Jackson is a transformational Christian leader, author, and higher-education executive serving as Chancellor of William Jessup University in Rocklin, California.
He previously served for 15 years (starting in March 2011) as the sixth President of Jessup University, where under his leadership the institution significantly expanded its academic programs, enrollment, and national recognition as a Christ-centered university.
In early 2026 he transitioned into the role of Chancellor as part of a planned retirement and to continue supporting strategic initiatives and donor engagement.
